8 yo Daughter: [reading a book at 7am; glances at her mother]
"Mom, you should stop playing video games."

Me: "I am not playing video games."

8 yo Daughter: "Then what are you doing?"

Me: "I'm texting a friend."

8 yo Daughter: "Mmmm Hmmmm. It's like a video game."

Me: "It's NOT like a video game, it involves human interaction."

8 yo Daughter: "Not really."

Me: [defensively irritated, continuing to text]

8 yo Daughter: "Mom, that Crackberry is going to rot your brain. You should really read a book."
